The Garden House

Project Overview

This site is located to the north of Bosham, with far reaching views across the coastal plain to the South Downs. Our brief was to replace the existing house with two new large, detached houses. The principal rooms were positioned to optimise views across open farmland to the Downs. The houses were similar in plan and scale, but the elevations were treated differently. The Garden House plot featured oak, render and a slate roof with lead roll top ridges. The second plot featured blue-grey plain tiles, weatherboarding and painted external joinery.
